Activity Scale (How many days a week do you play on average?):
As MRP has become more populated lately, I have been on 3-4 days a week for a few hours at a time.

Do you have any punishment history on RoleplayHub (SchoolRP, MazeRP, or Creative)? If so, please state your punishments:
N/A
Do you understand that the Keeper role is solely an in-character role, and that its permissions can only be used for in-character purposes? (Yes/No)
Yes
What experience do you have with roleplaying?
Roleplay and character writing has been a consistent aspect of my life for many years, I’ve been a player on roleplay hub since 2017 and actively roleplay multiple characters on SchoolRP. Additionally I have a long history of roleplay on ttrpgs such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Monster of the Week and more. These have all given me an extensive experience of roleplaying many different characters in detail in many different stories and settings.
I get the opportunity to share detailed and emotional writing through these platforms that I would otherwise not. Although it may not be roleplay experience I also have a large passion for writing in general, through short stories, character writing, and the beginnings of a book.
What is your motivation for applying for Keeper?
Being a Keeper is a unique experience that allows me to further improve the roleplay and work for myself and other players alike. It gives additional information and detail to players who are already active and adds dynamics not previously available like enforcement and consequences in character for theft or other disturbances, as well as bonding through events and general interaction.
It also allows me to help familiarize newer players or those who changed jobs through in character means, explaining duties, tips and other information they may find helpful when they get started being a Slicer. The main importance of being a Keeper is helping others through the job and making sure the glade is in proper working order.
IC (In-Character)
Character Name:
Katla Jonsbur
Character Age:
28
Please give a brief description of your character’s personality:
Katla is a generally boastful woman, at 28 years old she carries an often cheery attitude. Her whole-hearted stupor makes her quite the socialite. Her immense strength comes along with an unrivaled confidence allowing her to convey her firm beliefs and enforce what she finds is important to the survival of the glade. Though she can have quite the temper if pushed far enough, she's often considered a friendly face aside from those who stir up trouble.
Tell us why your character would be a great pick for this leadership position:
Katla’s rough and rigid roots make her the prime candidate as a leader, a strong sense of justice, even if executed through. . .alternative means. Every Slicer in the glade gets the chance to do their work in a way that feels meaningful and Katla intends to make sure that is given.
Despite Katla’s overconfident personality she is a willing and patient ear for the struggles of other slicers, cooks, and any other Glader that may find themselves coming to her for assistance. Katla’s personality and physique plays well into that of a leader, nonchalant friendly, however still capable of enforcing the rules set upon the slicers. The woman is not to be trifled with.
What activities would you host for your job members?
Activities are important in order to keep things interesting in the Glade for everyone. Task related jobs would most likely be most beneficial to slicers as it allows them to focus on learning, having fun, all while working hard. Ideally it would be interesting to potentially have a learning based event heavily focusing on the intricacies and effort that goes into the job of Slicers; butchery.
Covering multiple things like types of cuts, tools used, how to work through the cuts of meat, and general animal health and wellbeing, it would be a largely educational activity for those wanting to learn more about their work.
For those who may be looking for more of a hands-on activity, who wouldn’t love a little bit of friendly competition, a select amount of crop to each slicer and a timer to see who can get their work done the fastest! Allowing them to show off their skills and proficiency. Those who clear their hand of the crops and successfully butcher each resulting animal in the fastest time wins! Earring themselves a reward in the process, perhaps a better quality axe from the friendly Brick-nicks!
These are just a couple of ideas to keep Slicer engagement alive, and of course more activities would be on the way!
How do you see your job and its role in the Glade?
The role of Slicer in the Glade is rather important, it supplies vital material to all roles of the glade, from leather and for brickies, to bonemeal for the track-hoes, and food for the cooks. All of these things allow other roles to do their jobs effectively. Without slicers there would be a lack of these important materials and other areas would not be able to work effectively. It would prevent armors, and weapons used for our protection from being made, as well as potions and important tools for runners and baggers as well. Each job in the glade plays into the other, and Slicers sit in the centre of it, supplying each job.
As a Keeper, you will have authority over Gladers. How would you react to these hypothetical scenarios?
When sanctioning other Gladers, what would make the difference between an oral warning, the slammer, and banishment?
Severity and risk to the safety and security of others would most likely be a great decider in the level of punishment a Glader receives, alongside repeat offences if that is warranted. More minor actions like material theft, smaller arguments and poor behavior will be rewarded with a warning. Things such as fights, crop or material stealing on a greater level should be met with time in the slammer, especially if it is not the first time someone had done such a thing. Banishment should only be used for extreme cases, repeatedly causing harm to other Glader’s, destruction of valuable materials and in extreme cases, the killing of other Gladers should be met with the firm hand of baggers and result in a banishment.
A Glader has been stealing from the storage, how do you react?
It is always best to inquire into these claims, where they come from, who is involved and the likes, gathering information is first and foremost, if the information seems viable and deserving of further investigation, A conversation should be had with the Glader in question, preferably in the presence of a capable bagger to avoid accidents. Giving them a warning for their behaviour would be the first course of action, and letting baggers know that they have committed theft and should keep an eye out for future offences. As previously stated, escalation of theft in repeated cases should be met with a firmer punishment.
A Glader has been giving precious resources to the Banished, how do you react?
There should be a zero tolerance policy when it comes to giving resources to the Banished, as much as they may have once been our companions, friends, or co-workers, they made the choice resulting in their banishment and should be treated as such. The Banished are not the people the supplies should be going to, it should be going to the trusted and valued members of the Glade. I believe giving resources to the Banished is grounds for banishment itself. Or at the very least, removal and relocation of said offending Glader into a different career, paired with time in the slammer. This gives them a firm consequence for their actions, and should it not be enough, banishment is in order.
Any additional notes:
I appreciate the time it takes to look and read through these applications, and hope that my own has been received well, if I don’t become a Keeper I look forward to re-applying when possible.
Thank you!
